The Customer's Request
Organize the second team building in a year for the loyal customer BSH home appliances
After the great success of a bike building in May, the BSH appliance company contacted us again to carry out another outdoor team building activity for a group of 10 people. We proposed orienteering/survival, to test the team dynamics of this working group.

Orienteering activities on the shores of Como Lake
After studying the client's requests, we identified the location that, in our opinion, best suited the purposes of the event, suggesting the organization of the activity in a shelter near Lake Como.
The final prize involved the achievement of team goals.
We, therefore, proposed to organize orienteering in 4 stages:
1. the snack in the farmhouse as a moment of briefing on the use of the compass and the map;
2. a practical test: to learn how to orient yourself on the map and how to follow the directions to get to the "lantern", the checkpoint of our business;
3. the orienteering and survival tests activity, which consisted in finding the checkpoints indicated on the map, building emergency shelters, and recognizing plants and trees useful in tough moments of this team building;
4. lunch in a refuge with typical and local products of the area and announcement of the winning team.
Achieved Results
Greater cohesion among participants and provision of personalized service for our client
Following the client's instructions, we were able to develop the metaphor according to which adversity can be overcome together, orienting oneself in a natural and potentially risky environment, with the achievement of great goals.
We were able to provide a personalized service based on the requests and needs of our customers, allowing the team to spend a day outdoors, immersed in nature, particularly strengthening the team spirit, which is the essence of this activity.

The proposal of the orienteering activity was an opportunity to experience a day outdoors outside the daily routine and to strengthen the spirit of collaboration and problem solving of the participants. Knowing how to get by with the few resources available and working together to achieve the goal are certainly two key elements for excellent team working!
